Following previous industry attention surrounding .si domain sales, Spaceship SellerHub has released its full transaction trends for October, showing steady growth in platform volume and a continued upward trend in the domain market.

Data indicates that domain sales on the platform in October increased by 15% compared to September. Growth was observed across various transaction types, with “Buy It Now” (BIN) remaining the dominant method, accounting for 79% of all completed orders.
Among domain extensions, .com remains firmly in the top spot. The .si extension performed remarkably well, with sales volume surging nearly eightfold month-over-month, while .ai also saw strong growth, with sales doubling. The top ten extensions also include .co.uk, .co, .me, .app, .org.uk, .uk, and .org.
The list of high-value sales features a more diverse range of extensions: .com and .ai each account for three of the top ten, .si accounts for two, and the remainder consist of .uk and .xyz. Most of these high-value domains are generic English terms related to AI, development, and automation, underscoring a strong focus on technology.
Regarding transaction methods, seven of the top ten high-value sales were completed via “Buy It Now” (BIN), while three were settled through auctions. In terms of traffic sources, half of the high-value sales originated from searches on Spaceship and Namecheap, with the rest driven by SafePay links and “for sale” landing pages. It is clear that domains associated with the AI sector and popular new extensions are becoming the primary focal points in the domain trading market.
