Founded in 2023 by two former Formula One engineers, PhysicsX focuses on developing so-called “physics AI.” Unlike traditional large language models, the company aims to build AI models that understand the laws of physics. Its core product is an AI-native engineering platform that replaces traditional numerical simulations with AI inference, reducing physical simulation calculations that previously took weeks to seconds.

This technological breakthrough has significant implications for heavy industries such as aerospace, semiconductors, and automotive manufacturing. It allows engineers to conduct massive testing in virtual environments, significantly accelerating the design cycle of complex hardware such as jet engines and semiconductor devices. PhysicsX’s CEO revealed that with surging demand from semiconductor customers, this segment is expected to become its largest source of business by 2026. This round of financing will be used to further develop its “big physics model” and expand into global markets.
