Real estate crowdfunding platform Mogul has completed a major domain upgrade, acquiring Mogul.com in an all-cash deal worth $1.3 million and officially migrating from its previous address, Mogul.club. The seller was veteran angel investor Braden Pollock, and the transaction was finalized last month.

Mogul CEO Alex Blackwood stated, “As our company grows, our online presence must match the scale of our business. Over 50,000 investors found us through Mogul.club; we can only imagine how many people will find us—and continue to find us in the future—now that we use Mogul.com.”
Blackwood described the acquisition as “domain maximization,” noting, “When your company owns a clean, premium .com domain, people instinctively trust and remember it.” The company anticipates recouping the cost of the domain within 6 to 12 months.
Notably, Mogul raised only $3.6 million in seed funding when it launched in 2023, yet it boldly invested nearly a third of that capital into the domain purchase. Co-founders Alex Blackwood and Joey Gumataotao have no regrets; they believe that upgrading from Mogul.club to Mogul.com will propel the real estate investment platform to the next level.
In an era of fierce competition for traffic, a strong domain serves not only as a gateway but also as a mark of credibility. Mogul’s bold move may well prove to be a pivotal step in its journey toward scaling up.
