The 123rd meeting of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), titled “IETF 123 Madrid,” will take place from July 19 to 25, 2025, at the Meliá Castilla Hotel & Convention Center, Calle del Poeta Joan Maragall, 43, 28020 Madrid, Spain. This in-person event also offers full online participation for global accessibility.

Kicking off the week, the IETF Hackathon and Codesprint will run on July 19-20, 2025, in Madrid, with remote participation available. Training and tutorials for newcomers will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 20.

The preliminary agenda will be published on June 20, 2025, with the final agenda released on June 27, 2025. Proposals for Birds of a Feather (BOF) sessions must be submitted by May 23, 2025.

Registration is open with Super Early Bird rates available until June 2, 2025: a Week Pass costs US$925, a One-Day Pass US$495, and a Student Pass US$160. The Hackathon remains free, and online participation is offered at a reduced rate.
