Eliyan, a Santa Clara, California-based chip interconnect startup, recently announced the completion of a $145 million Series C funding round, valuing the company at $1 billion and officially making it a unicorn.

This round was led by Seligman Ventures, with participation from new strategic investors including Cisco Investments and Lumentum. This brings Eliyan’s total funding to nearly $300 million. Previously, the company completed a $40 million Series A funding round in 2022, a $60 million Series B funding round in 2024, and a $50 million strategic investment in early 2026.
Founded in 2021, Eliyan focuses on solving bottlenecks in chip-to-chip data transmission in AI data centers. The company plans to use the new funding to accelerate the research and commercialization of electro-optical interconnect technology and expand manufacturing scale and ecosystem partnerships.
