Does anyone think it will ever happen, that domain names could be owned outright?
Domains are being leased on an annual basis and for some TLDs and ccTLDs one can secure that lease for up to 10 years at a time. Will there be a time in the foreseeable future that a domain can be owned outright and “forever” in that sense? Get your magic 8 ball out and take a guess.
