The third annual Dubai Domain Days conference concluded successfully on Thursday evening, October 23rd. A yacht tour of Dubai’s picturesque harbor capped the acclaimed event.

Conference founder Munir Badr initially aimed to shine a spotlight on Dubai and the Middle East/Africa region, but the event has since attracted attendees from around the world. Today, with the event’s success, Dubai’s status as one of the world’s leading tech hubs is undeniable. Given the audience demographic and active local user base, the conference name will be simplified to “Domain Days,” a name that perfectly matches the official website, DomainDays.com, and requires no further introduction.
Given the busy schedules of industry professionals and the numerous events they need to plan ahead, Munir Badr has announced that the 2026 Domain Days conference will take place on October 14th and 15th. Furthermore, a full conference review of the 2025 Domain Event, which just concluded in the UAE metropolis, will be available once the professional photos arrive.

Above: With Domain Days being held in the United Arab Emirates, there was a lot of interest in the nation’s ccTLD – .ae. The audience got a comprehensive inside view of the extension in a Keynote presented by Mohammad Ismail Alfalasi (Manager, Digital Resources Management, TDRA).
Below: Much of the innovation in the tech world is coming from Dubai. Marwan AlZarouni (CEO of AI for Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) as well as CEO of Dubai Blockchain Center) provided some great insight into what has propelled the city into a global leadership role.


Above: The owner of the first .com domain registered on the Internet (Symbolics.com), Aron Meystedt (at right in this picture with DN.com’s Jack Dai), was also a featured speaker at Domain Days. Symbolics.com is celebrating its 40th birthday since being registered in 1985!
