Telepathy recently sold Phoebe.com, a premium domain from its established domain portfolio. This highly recognizable female-style domain is registered in 1996 and is 30 years old. According to DomainTools’ WHOIS records, Telepathy acquired the domain in late 2021 from a third party who had previously obtained it from the original registrant, Phoebe Technologies.

Consistent with Telepathy’s previous domain transactions, the Nat Cohen-owned company did not disclose specific financial details of the Phoebe.com transaction.

The new owner has quickly rebranded the domain, upgrading the original Phoebe.ai to Phoebe.com. According to its LinkedIn profile, the company focuses on building immune systems for software, and its Phoebe AI agent helps engineering organizations of all sizes quickly categorize and troubleshoot issues ranging from minor bugs to major incidents.

Phoebe originates from ancient Greek mythology and is the name of the Titan goddess ΦΟΙΒH, daughter of Uranus, the god of the sky, and Gaia, the goddess of the earth. It is understood that the new owner has used the initial Φ of the name as the brand logo.

Currently, in industries such as artificial intelligence, software, and healthcare services, there is a growing trend of companies and brands using male or female names for their domain names and brand names.
