Meet Domain Talk — lifelike audio overviews that let your domain speak for itself.
🔊 What Is Domain Talk?
Domain Talk is a new feature that adds a short, AI-generated voiceover to domain landing pages. These natural, humanlike snippets give buyers a quick pitch for the domain—how it could be used, what kind of brand it could become, and why it stands out.
In less than 60 seconds, a static name turns into a story buyers can hear.
🧠 Why Sound?
Humans are visual by nature—but we’re also deeply influenced by sound. Audio adds an emotional layer that static text alone can’t deliver.
- Studies show sound can enhance recall and trust, and accelerate decision-making.
- In brand-building, multi-sensory experiences (visual + auditory) lead to stronger emotional connections.
- Domains with audio may help buyers envision use cases faster, making the name feel more real and brand-ready.
📈 What We’re Seeing So Far
We’ve already enabled Domain Talk on several thousand domains, and while the feature is still in Beta, early results are encouraging:
Buyers are spending more time on pages with audio and interacting more with the content.
It’s early days, but the engagement signals are promising—and we’re excited about what this means for conversion & STR over time.

🚀 How to Get It on Your Domains
Starting this week, we’re rolling out Domain Talk Credits to sellers. You’ll be able to generate lifelike audio stories for any of your domains directly from your Atom dashboard.
Once credits have been added to your account, you will be notified via email along with instructions on how to generate the audio stories for your domains. These credits are part of our early testing. Once we work out any remaining kinks, we plan to offer additional options for sellers to access and use Domain Talk at scale.
🔬 What’s Next
Domain Talk is just one of many experiments we’re running to create a better, more immersive buying experience.
We’re also piloting audio and video ads that feature these voice-enabled domains—another way to boost visibility and attract high-intent buyers.
Our broader goal is simple:
To keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in domain discovery, and to find new ways to accelerate sales for our sellers.
