Google Wins Back AndroidEnterprise.com Through UDRP; Registrant Had Demanded $5 Million

The AndroidEnterprise.com domain name dispute case has recently concluded, with a World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) arbitration tribunal ruling that the domain name must be transferred from the registrant to Google LLC.

Google Wins Back AndroidEnterprise.com Through UDRP; Registrant Had Demanded Million

AndroidEnterprise.com was reportedly registered in 2025 by Indian individuals Shahid Sheikh and Emitac Enterprise Solutions LLC. Previously, the domain name directed to a website for sale with the tag “Get This Domain.” The registrant had offered Google $5 million for it. Google filed a complaint under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), alleging trademark infringement.

The tribunal noted that “Android” is a well-known and long-standing trademark of Google, and “Android Enterprise” is its official enterprise branding project. The domain name in question is highly similar to the trademark, potentially misleading the public into believing it is associated with Google. Furthermore, the registrant failed to demonstrate a legitimate business relationship with the domain name, lacked a legitimate reason for use, and was primarily selling the domain name, clearly for commercial profit.

Furthermore, the registrant’s demand for $5 million was deemed by the Panel to be key evidence of “bad faith registration and use,” a violation of Article 4 of the UDRP. Ultimately, the tribunal ordered the formal transfer of AndroidEnterprise.com to Google.
